  1. SLWA requests a description of the nature of the work or project being undertaken and how they anticipate using and sharing the Library’s resources to stimulate research, creativity or curiosity, during a user’s registration period. This information may be used for promotional purposes.
  2. Users agree to participate in or present workshops or information sessions for community members and/or Library staff or partner organisations during their registration period as part of advertised official SLWA programs or events. This will include a suggestion for their session topic and proposed delivery date.
  3. Acknowledge and comply with the Library Use Policy (PDF, 16KB) while using Studio 001.
  4. Use of the workspace is available at the discretion of SLWA within opening hours.
  5. Key to Studio 001 must be signed in and out by the registered user each day.
  6. The workspace cannot be used for programs or functions where participants are required to pay to attend.

  8. SLWA accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of personal items.
  9. SLWA accepts no responsibility for deletion or alteration of data, files or intellectual property that is stored on SLWA devices.
  10. Facilities are to be used in a responsible manner, taking into consideration the laws on copyright, privacy, harassment and libel. Users who fail to do so may have their registration cancelled.
  11. Users acknowledge that due to the shared nature of the workspace, sensitive information may sometimes be overheard, and you agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others in such circumstances.
  12. Visitors may have access to visit Studio 001 for the purpose of meeting with registered users.
  13. Users acknowledge that access to Studio 001 does not give exclusive use of the space at any time unless prior agreement has been arranged with SLWA. In such cases, SLWA will endeavour to notify other users.
  14. Users agree to be responsible for any and all damages to the building and/or equipment including that caused by user visitors.
  15. Users are expected to reserve their workspace on the share calendar, utilise Studio 001 on a regular basis during their registration period and honour their reservations. Repeated failure to attend when a work station is reserved may result in termination of registration.
  16. Users may terminate their registration at any time, but SLWA requests two days’ notice as a courtesy.
  17. Users may apply to re-register at the end of each registration period. Continued availability is not guaranteed.
  18. SLWA reserves the right to terminate a registration if the user does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. The user will be given one written warning prior to registration being terminated.
  19. Users will comply with all reasonable directions from SLWA staff in relation to building safety and security protocols.
