Cat Balloon – exhibition of original illustrations

Wednesday 03 May 2017 09:00AM to Sunday 28 May 2017 05:00PM
The Story Place Gallery
"There was one small cat, called Cat Balloon,
Who wanted to fly away with the moon."

Captivating illustrations tell the story of a determined cat who sets off on a journey to search for the secret of the full moon. Curated especially for children, this exhibition showcases gouache and ink illustrations from the picture book Cat Balloon, written and illustrated by Palo Morgan (Fremantle Press, 1992).

The illustrations come from the State Library’s Peter Williams Collection, a collection of original Australian children’s picture book art.

Free event.
